Yes! The Sake Shop’s Biggest & Annual 2-DAY Kubota Sake Tasting & Sale is coming this JULY 11th & 12th, 2026! It’s complimentary as always, and you must be 21+.
We’ll be featuring 4 special guests making the trip all the way from Niigata, Japan, including 2 special brewers whom you’ve never met before~
We’ll even be featuring their new sparkling sake KUBOTA “S” to Hawaii as the opener to our 8—yes, EIGHT—Sake Tasting Lineup (TBA!)
I know, this sounds like an exciting jam-pack Kubota lineup…and it is! Especially for all our Kubota lovers out there~
BUT, so as not to overload on all the details, we’ll post followup information on each 8 sake on our our social media (@sakeshop on Instagram & Sake Shop Hawaii on Facebook) , though we’re not allowed to tell you too much about our 6 “Secret Sake”…
But, back to the show! With how busy this annual tasting can get, we’ve not only extended the initial hours but even made it a 2-Day Event:
1:00 – 7:00 PM on Saturday, July 11th
12:00 – 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 12th
While the tasting will be almost all day long, there is a massive perk if you make it to the shop by 1PM on July 11th . It’s the Sake Welcoming Ceremony performed by our special guests from Asahi Shuzo!
It’s a rare treat to see as it’s almost never done outside of their brewery, so we’re so happy & honored that they’re willing to start off our tasting w/it once again.
As mentioned, we even have 2 special Kubota brewers as well, & they’ve been diligently practicing their singing for the ceremony! On top of their brewing & some English cram-lessons by our friend Kaoru-san
Speaking of, let’s also give a big aloha to Ms. Kaoru Ito and Manager Toshiro Susa from Asahi Shuzo for coming once more to support! <3
Everyone at Asahi Shuzo are always so excited to see Kubota fans each year at our small shop, so we’re super thankful for all of you coming every year as well to support an awesome sake brewery & some amazing people.
