We’re going to mix it up this weekend with a couple of different sake from Nishimoto Trading. Please come by and join us for our Complimentary Sake Tasting this Saturday, April 17, 2010.
First up is MU Junmai Daiginjo! Also known as “Nothingness” this sake lives up to it’s name as it is extremely mild and easy to drink. It’s one of the more popular sake that we sell at the shop.
Second we’ll be pouring Shichiken Junmai Ginjo from Yamanashi prefecture. This sake goes down smooth with a clean aftertaste and is good both chilled and warm.
Then for all you “MOUNTAIN MEN” out there we’ll be tasting Otokoyama Tokubetsu Junmai. Otokoyama translates to “Man’s Mountain” and is a good solid junmai that Hawaii people seem to really enjoy.
Finally for those of you who like your sake a little sweeter, we’ll be pouring HANA Fuji Apple Flavored Sake. This sake is easy to drink with a fresh, ripe apple flavor. It’s low alcohol level makes it a fine aperitif, either straight up or on the rocks.
